Smart Contract Deposits Are Not Supported
Plasbit does not support deposits sent through smart contracts. If you deposit via a smart contract, the funds will not be credited to your Plasbit wallet.
What counts as a Smart Contract?
This usually happens when funds are sent from:* DeFi apps (swap, staking, farming, lending/borrowing)
* Bridge contracts
* Payment or batching contracts
* Smart contract withdrawal methods in some wallets or services
What do we support?
To make sure your deposit is credited, send funds as a standard transfer:
* a regular withdrawal from an exchange, or
* a normal “transfer” from a personal wallet
How to check if your transaction was a smart contract deposit?
Before you send, check the send/withdraw method in your wallet or platform:
* choose “Send / Transfer” (standard transfer)
* avoid options like “Contract”, “Smart contract”, “DApp”, “Swap”, “Bridge”, “Interact”, or similar wording
Before sending, you can also check your transaction on a blockchain explorer.
Common signs include:
* transaction type like “Contract Call”, “TriggerSmartContract”, or “Interaction”
* the transaction type is "smart contract" instead of "transfer"
* the transfer shows under “Internal Transactions” rather than a simple transfer
If you’re not sure, ask the sender/platform to send using a standard transfer method.
Recommended workaround (if you must receive funds from a smart contract first)
1. Receive the funds in a non custodial wallet that supports smart contract transactions, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet
2. Send the funds from that wallet to your Plasbit deposit address using a standard wallet to wallet transfer.
If you have already sent a smart contract deposit
Smart contract deposits aren’t always recoverable, so we may not be able to credit them. If you’ve already sent one, please contact support.
