July 25, 2025 | Puławska 145, 02-715 Warszawa, Poland – PlasBit has achieved PCI DSS certification (No. 13AC-24PC-5840), the leading global standard for protecting card data and personal information. This confirms that our systems, policies, and daily practices safeguard cardholder data at the same level required of leading financial institutions.
PCI DSS spans 12 key areas, from network security to encryption and continuous monitoring. By passing the assessment, an independent auditor confirmed that our controls meet strict standards for handling sensitive information.
From day one, we have operated as a fully self-hosted, self-managed ecosystem:
- All software developed in-house.
- Our own nodes running on our own servers.
- Custody of user funds backed 1:1 and secured in cold storage.
Being entirely self-funded and independent, we never relied on third parties, white-label code, or venture capital. Every line of code, every compliance process, and every infrastructure choice has been shaped by our privacy-first and security-driven philosophy.
Our users rely on us not only to protect their funds but also to preserve their privacy. PCI DSS certification confirms that we have the safeguards in place across every process and aligns with our broader framework that already includes round-the-clock monitoring, advanced encryption, bug bounty programs, and alignment with evolving regulations such as MiCA.
This milestone strengthens PlasBit’s position as a trusted and regulated crypto platform, licensed in Poland and Canada, and opens the door to expanding services and forging global partnerships.
Security and compliance have shaped our approach since day one. Achieving PCI DSS certification reinforces our commitment to protecting users while building a financial ecosystem grounded in sovereignty, independence, and trust.
